Adventure Time!

So today I watched Adventure Time in Cartoon Network with my little sister. She loves that show. Even my classmates (mind you, they're 15 years old) are hooked to it. So I decided to intently watch it and see what the fuss is all about.
From what I've watched, and the things I've been hearing from my sister and classmates, Finn the Human, a 14-year-old boy, and Jake the Dog, have adventures in the Land of Ooo. They always get into a lot of trouble (in the episode I watched, they were stuck in a video game), but they always manage to get away from it somehow.
And then there's the adorable Princess Bubblegum, ruler of Candy Kingdom. She's so kind and intelligent.
There's also the Ice King. I find him really creepy because, come on now, he's old with that floor length white beard, yet he kidnaps princesses, especially Princess Bubblegum, who's just 13, and forces them to marry him! Uhmm, pedo alert.

Would I watch Adventure Time? Most probably. Adventure Time is pretty interesting, although I think some of the instances and words are not appropriate to be heard by young kids watching Cartoon Network. Despite all the instances and words I mentioned previously, I still found good points in the cartoons. I actually found hidden lessons while watching it (sorry, but when I watch something, I can't help but try to read between the lines too much haha)! All you have to do is look hard enough.

The Beginning

My first blog post ever. Wow.

Well, this isn't actually my first time to blog. I had a Wordpress blog before that I really maintained, but I got unimpassioned towards it afterwards, what with all the other things I needed to focus on, such as my studies.

Also, I was a writer in our school's official publication last year, and not being able to write as I used to before, my writing skills have gotten a bit blunt. I think writing in this blog will help me improve my writing.

What sets this blog apart from my previous one is that this is somewhat a journal of my random ramblings about life and whatnot, unlike in my Wordpress blog where I mainly focused about fashion. This blog is much more carefree and totally random.

I'm pretty much an ordinary teenage girl in a humdrum life, so I don't expect people to actually find interest in what I write.

To cap everything of, I would compare life to bows and bricks. Sweet and bitter. Bittersweet. You're on Cloud 9, but then gravity pulls you down to the brick pavement --- face down.
